Since the re-installment of Russian Asset Trump, the US stock market has seen nearly ten trillion in value disappear, with five trillion erased over the past two days. According to multiple reports, this is the largest two-day loss in American history.
“Trump is calling his big tariff announcement ‘Liberation Day,’ but it all looks like a big fat gift to Vladimir Putin, and a controlled demolition of the United States as a world power,” wrote Dave Troy, the publisher & editor of America 2.0, who has accurately predicated the financial destruction continuing to unfold.
If you wanted to convert the United States over to a mafia style pyramidal power structure, where the only security any individual can hope for comes from being beholden to the gangster above them, you would undermine all the traditional institutions of a Western first-world civilization.
I wrote months ago that America would become like Russia in the ‘90s, I just wish I had been wrong.
I wonder what MAGA is doing now?
Lighting a candle on the altar of their golden cow? Or looking for a job that doesn’t rely on world trade?
Today, I wrote my new column for Byline Supplement on the theme of trust. How Putin’s brutality was born out of envy for the West and how the Kremlin uses Soviet-era tactics to destroy our trust in each other, weakening our resilience and community spirit.
That column is scheduled for Saturday. Also scheduled for Saturday are nationwide protests against the New Fascist Regime, which continues to appoint America’s Biggest Losers to positions of power to destroy US institutions from within.
We have not yet seen the bottom.
We must not be surprised by anything this Regime does, as alarming and distressing as it is to witness the intentional destruction of our beloved country.
Dave Troy calls it economic terrorism, unnecessary self-harm.
