Here are the event details for our upcoming ‘Speakeasy’ zoom salon:
BETTE’S ‘SPEAKEASY’ ZOOM SALON — Sunday, Oct. 29, 4 pm PT
Please listen to RadPod’s latest Ep71, where we interview Jack A. Bryan about his new podcast ‘Lawyers, Guns, and Money’:
We also had a blast last night as Jack surprised our viewers on RadPod & Chill. You can check it out here.
Jack Bryan, director of Active Measures, American Psyop, and the new podcast series Lawyers, Guns, and Money — produced by Jack and Jon Cryer — will answer questions about his latest series and his work. Summary of LGAM here:
When Miami public defender John Mattes met his first felony defendant in 1985, what he heard pulled him into a world of danger and intrigue that would change the course of American history. His client, a Cuban American, had been arrested for having a machine gun as part of what he claimed was a CIA gun-running operation. After collecting a ragtag group of witnesses, including drug-running and mercenaries Mattes connects with a young Senator (John Kerry) as they follow a trail that leads directly to the White House.
The podcast is released on Oct. 29, but if you would like to access content early, you can sign up here or cut and paste this link:

I’ve already listened to the first episode and bonus content by being an early subscriber for just six bucks.
What connects Jack’s work thematically is he reports on ongoing assaults on Democracy, and how today’s attacks are often rooted in history — a history where high-level criminals skated to come back and interfere with our democratic processes again.
If you have not yet watched his film ‘Active Measures’, I recommend you do before our meeting. I had this vital documentary on a 24/7 loop in 2018, and it is an important document of the Kremlin’s ongoing attacks on the West.
Thank you to everyone who supports independent reporters in the fight against fascism.
