I hope everyone is having a lovely holiday centered around family and friends. For those in the US, Memorial Day offers each of us an opportunity to reflect on those who served our country.

Today, I am also thinking about the living, such brave men as Sgt. Aquilino Gonell, who not only served the US proudly defending us overseas, but who served us in our greatest time of need, on January 6.

As a veteran of the Great Information War, I am also thinking of each and every one of you who are serving your countries globally in defense of truth.

History books will be written about people like you, who saw an assault on reality, and who stood up to defend reality with all you had. That takes great courage.

So on this day, as I cherish the living and the dead, please join me on Thursday for a special Bette’s Happy Hour — a roast for my 60th birthday.

As I wrote earlier this month, I’m not dead yet lol, and I am looking forward to celebrating that fact.
