VIDEO: Bette’s Zoom Tutorial & Fundraiser

So much gratitude to the Bette members who donated in advance of this tutorial/fundraiser event. I am so grateful.

Yesterday, High Fidelity and I hosted the zoom tutorial and below you will find the first 30 minutes of instruction. I didn’t include the Q & A portion but I learned how to wear virtual party hats, halos, add avatars, and multiple useless things that made all of us laugh. HiFi, who does this work on a volunteer basis to support me, is available to answer any specific questions you may still have. Just send any questions to bettedangerous/gmail, and I’ll forward to him.

HiFi and I also explained how to host your own meetings, and I encouraged guests to check out the ‘webinar’ settings on zoom — they are very useful for more official proceedings.

The majority of time was spent walking users through the basic functionality of zoom settings and how to dial down attack surface from intruders by getting granular with the security settings.
