They are indeed working hard to kill off empathy in people. Terms like “snowflake” & “social justice warrior” & “virtue signaling” were injected into our language for this very purpose. They want a world where theft on a massive scale (by billionaires & corporations) are sanctioned but woe be the person who misses a month of rent due to actual hardship.
The right wants a ‘Christian’ White nationalist authoritarian future. There are only so many resources left on the planet & the richest among them have decided to make sure those resources get in their hands alone.
Sadly, opposition leaders in Russia either end up dead-falling out of windows, falling down staircases, poisoned or imprisoned.
Last nite I watched the "Navalny" documentary on HBO, & I thought it was going to be "yet another documentary about an aggrieved opposition leader" (whatever THAT means) but WOW...it was SOO not that! I was surprised, amazed, horrified and much more) at this doc. I was amazed at the speed & sharpness of his team at identifying and even calling these assasinators & that one call to one of the scientists was PURE GOLD. I say this bc the "antidote" to propaganda is sunlight. Yes, unfortunately one may pay for it w/ one's life but I am glad you are honoring this person w/ acknowledgements & frankly, I wasn't privy to these things w/o you shedding light on his life. Thank you, bc I'm sure that Navalny can't do it all, & these brave, BRAVE folks need continued accolades & praise.
