THE MANA OF HANA: Warrior Goddess Energy — Kia Kaha
A Bette member from New Zealand sent me a video of inspiration by a young Māori member of Parliament, Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke, as she encourages all of us to stay strong — Kia Kaha

“I’m gonna tell you this: I know who I am, I know where I come from, and I know where I am going.”—Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke
I work with warrior goddesses, and the men who support warrior goddesses. We need each other. We all need each other.
Bette Dangerous is read in 80 countries, and my newest member from New Zealand shared a video of Te Pāti Māori Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke, who at 22, is taking on New Zealand’s “far-right sell-out populists.”
The NZ member wrote:
“I have followed you all from Aotearoa, New Zealand. Know you have whanau — family/kindred spirits — in this part of the world. For some of us, the global reach is so clear — this fuckery is going on here as well — our government gave Peter Thiel citizenship! The locals are fighting him because he wants to build his bunker in our ‘outstanding natural landscape.’ Suddenly flush with cash, the right-wing government is throwing out the rules that stop him - funny that.
“They are going after our indigenous people — who have legal rights to stop them — who can see these fuckers a million miles away — so that's where I am putting my energy for joyful connected resistance. I share Te Pati Maori Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke who is 22 - take on the NZ far right sell outs - populist Winston Peters. She has Heidi energy. We have a phrase Kia Kaha - stand strong.”
She included a link to this video. Please watch it:
You can learn more about New Zealand’s youngest MP in 170 years, Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke — and the powerful Haka — a traditional Māori challenge, a deeply meaningful ritual that represents strength, by watching the video below:
As I write this, I know the gaslighting monsters are booting up their machine hearts and sharpening their fangs, as they do when strong women appear on the scene to challenge them. To date, Greta Thunberg is the only person on this planet who challenged the extractors in any meaningful way, and they spent untold millions to try to discredit her.
As I watch the Haka, I feel the Spirit of Resistance in my bones. I need the Mana of Hana.
Kia Kaha. Stay Strong.
The fight is global, as are the warrior goddesses.

If someone within 50 miles of me was giving Haka lessons, I would go there as often as it took to learn how to do this. Why do we Western women not have anything like this? Can we invent something so as not to appropriate someone else's culture? Seriously, the energy in the Haka is just astonishing!
And, the Haka in parliament is electrifying! Kia Kaha! thank you.
