Just clarifying for Bette members that we are meeting today at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET for our first-of-the-year Happy Hour — our weekly wellness checkin for global newsies. We are dedicating today’s Happy Hour to gratitude, inviting guests to take a minute to share what they’re grateful for. We know this year’s going to be challenging and a ton of hard work, so let’s start with that place of gratitude.
As I noted yesterday, gratitude feels like too small a word. I am so grateful to all our new members, and positively over the moon about all of you who chose to renew your memberships and the many who upgraded to Founding Member. Keeping the lights on as an independent investigative reporter is no small feat, and I am thankful.
