My friend Wes Clark Jr. helped a friend in distress this morning, who is seeing the coordination by enemies of the state to push the illusion of the inevitability of Trump.
He assured her that what we are seeing is standard Soviet-era propaganda:
“We're not f**ked. Trump’s support is nowhere near what the media portrays. Their minions in the media simply try to paint authoritarian victory as inevitable - which is a standard Soviet propaganda technique.”

By all measurements, his doom is inevitable — but it also requires high-level arrests of the plotters of the Insurrection. Can’t have them running free to stage another coup.
