Bette members are invited to our Tuesday Happy Hour, August 25, 11 am Pacific, 2 pm Eastern, where we will be joined by EuroFile’s Monique Camarra from Italy, and Dietmar Pichler, a disinformation analyst from Vienna, Austria. Mo’ plans to “touch on Russia hitting weapons industries in EU, and if we call this war or not.”
Dietmar will be breaking down his latest report from Inved.eu, The underestimated influence of Soviet propaganda on the present.
As he noted:
“We underestimate the influence of Soviet propaganda on the present, how deeply the so-called ‘active measures’ and anti-Western narratives are still lodged in people's minds, not only in the East, but right here with us in the West!”

Monique Camarra writes EuroFile, and frequently brings her geopolitical analysis to the Bette Dangerous community. She served as co-host of the Kremlin File, which focused on Russia and the spread of authoritarianism throughout the world. She is based in Siena, Italy.
A note for new members: the Happy Hour began three and a half years ago, when I noticed many Bette members in despair.
