Smith is skipping the DC Appellate Court of Appeals in an effort to save time.

It is also clear that he has full confidence in the "greatness" of Judge Chutkan's opinion that Trump's time in office and his aspirational desire to regain the office does not bestow upon him a "get out of jail free pass."

How does SCOTUS react? 

Has the Federalist Society had time to weigh in?

WSJ will certainly do so near term as will Fox.

Put your seatbelt on. It is going to be a wild legal ride but it could not be more important.

Jack Smith's evidence is strong. His case is tight. Take away Trump's primary legal defense and "the emperor has no clothes."

The clock is ticking in this drama.

Will SCOTUS find reason to delay?

For how long?

Will SCOTUS find reason to set off a legal bomb and find for the MAGA king?

Which rich yacht owner will have the pleasure of entertaining various Supremes to game out a viable legal path for the Orange Jesus in an appropiately comfortable setting for elitist enablers and wealthy donors ?

Marty the Rat (lol) will brief us with updates on the legal woes of DJT, and we’ll reserve time for some wellness check-ins, although I must say, just hanging out with the Bette crew and Marty’s good vibes always makes me feel better.

Our Founder’s Day meeting Dr. Gary Slutkin was so incredibly important, I’m bringing him back in January for our Speakeasy so all Bette members have a chance to hear from this great compassionate mind on how we treat violence as a contagion.
