Thank you to those of you who stayed up late and got up early to join Bette’s Happy Hour this week, with Zarina Zabrisky reporting live from Odesa, Ukraine.
We met up with her the day before she left to screen her film, Kherson: Human Safari at the Munich Security Conference, which took place today.
I had the honor of being an executive producer on the film, and thanks to her hard work, the film has screened in 23 cities, and has been translated into seven languages, and informed multiple reports by the UN and Human Rights Watch on Russia’s war crimes and crimes against humanity in Kherson.
If you have not yet watched the film, you can do so here:
Those of you who missed her at Bette on Tuesday, can check out RadPod’s new interview with her here:
She shares a personal story about the KGB’s attempt to turn her into a “hot currency prostitute and spy” when she was 16 years old; she gives boots on the ground reporting from Odesa and Kherson and offers us a preview of her second film in the Kherson trilogy.
