PETITION: End Mike Flynn’s Calls for Violence
A Bette member alerted me to this new petition to demand our enforcement agencies put a stop to Mike Flynn’s instigation of national violence

While in the UK, I got a message from a Bette member, alerting me to this petition to end Mike Flynn’s calls for more violence in America.
I signed it, and I wanted to share it with you. Signing petitions is a personal decision, but for me it felt like an exhale — finally, someone other than the team I work with understands just how big of a threat Mike Flynn is to our national security.
Something has to be done about this incredibly dangerous man, using the power of his uniform to psychologically harm Americans and urge them toward violence.
Please read it, and please consider sharing with your networks. It’s very well thought out, and very well documented.
No one is coming to save us, and it’s brave Americans like the people behind this petition, who will force the US military, the Department of Justice, and the FBI to finally do something about him before it’s too late.
As I wrote when I signed the petition two nights ago:
This is about the future direction of our world — a future based on fear, lies, and disinformation to retain power or the furtherance of democratic governance defeating a repressive regime. We have this power in this moment to defeat totalitarianism, and it begins by arresting Mike Flynn, who operates as Putin’s general in America — harming citizens with abusive psychological warfare to create foot soldiers in his plot to overthrow America. It must end now before it ends violently.—Heidi Siegmund Cuda
My summary carries words that were once used to sign a petition I created long ago, when I demanded to see the Trump campaign’s Project Alamo dark ads, so I could compare them to the Russian ads from St. Petersberg’s influence operation.
Upon signing, a man in the UK wrote these beautiful words:
This is about transparency in democracy, political integrity and the future direction of our world and society. A political electoral system that is maintained by lies and misinformation to retain power without having the courage to stand up to scrutiny regarding it's claims is an abhorrence which must be nipped in the bud. You have here an opportunity to make a stand for ethics and a set of values in defence of a non totalitarian or repressive regime. You have this power at this juncture. Please use it wisely, as eventually your decision will be judged by history as long as we are still permitted to think for ourselves.—Anonymous, UK, May 13, 2017
That gentleman and I became friends long ago, and he is now a Bette member. He’s also a poet, and has sent me beautiful words about my activism that I hold dear. He was the first person to alert me to Carole Cadwalldr’s work and how the Brexit and Trump operations were linked. Forever indebted to the beautiful people we meet along the way.

Flynn is suing my podcast partner Jim Stewartson for $50 million dollars, and thanks to many of you here, we are fighting back. His legal team already got 10 out of 14 charges dismissed from the overt attempt to silence a journalist speaking truth to power.
