‘MORAL NIHILISM’: This Is Not A Game with Marci Shore

There are brave soldiers and there are great soldiers, and great soldiers know when to retreat and regroup. The point is to survive to secure the possibility of a future victory.

The writers of the Resistance, who have been some of the bravest soldiers in this war, need to read the field. The field has changed.

The election of Donald Trump to a second presidency has changed the tactical landscape irretrievably. The vast power and resources of the United States government now serves the Kremlin.

So for those who are bravely staying engaged in the fight, get yourself to safer ground, where your work will have a future.

This is not the time for hopium. It never was, but it should be clearer now.

What happened in the White House on Friday revealed that the United States is the enemy of every democracy. Sorry.

Although I ask you to join me in praying for a deus ex machina, we have to deal in facts.

In order to process the crisis, RadPod brought back Dr. Marci Shore, professor of intellectual history at Yale and the author of The Ukrainian Night. She had been interviewed for a conservative station, and when her interview ‘disappeared’ from broadcast, I asked her to return to RadPod to share her thoughts with us.
