I funnel everything through a punk rock lens, and there’s a beautiful song by Mike Ness of Social Distortion titled “I Was Wrong.” It’s truly one of the most important songs of modern punk — an admission, an amends. It takes a real man to admit wrong doing.
When I created RadPod with two brilliant disinformation warriors, we were united by punk — a DIY and never say die spirit that has sustained us through the most vicious attacks.
Jim Stewartson and High Fidelity are my heroes. There was never a time I wasn’t carried. When I was weak, I could call High Fidelity and he would remind me we are at war and to stay strong. Jim continues to blow my mind with his ability to wade into the suck and come out with the unflinching hard truth that America needs to face.
Our collective work is having an impact. Thousands watch our livestreams while hundreds and sometimes thousands of people around the world watch us on YouTube. We box above our weight and media is watching.
If our work wasn’t important, we wouldn’t have an evil army trying to undercut us at every turn. That desperate Putinist Mike Flynn wouldn’t be suing Jim. A fearless team of independent punks wasn’t in their plan.
