FINAL REMINDER — REGISTER: Founder’s Day with Zarina Zabrisky
Founding members please register for this today’s Founder’s Day event with war correspondent and author Zarina Zabrisky live from Ukraine — 1:30 pm PT via zoom
***Registration for today’s Founder’s Day event is below the paywall. If you would like to join us, please upgrade to Founding Member — which is any amount above the full annual rate of $60.***
An enormous thank you to my Founding Members. Many of you support me at the annual rate of $210 and some support even higher than that, and I am truly indebted.
Just wanted to make sure that all members know that to upgrade to Founder’s level, it is any amount that exceeds the full annual rate of $60. So even if you joined at a discounted rate, it’ll likely only be a small upgrade to become a Founder. Some support me at $70 annually, others at $130, and most at $210.
Every dollar matters and I know there are many important writers to support during these difficult days, and I am grateful that you consider my work worthy of your support.
I am very excited about our Founder’s Day event today with Zarina Zabrisky, who joins such previous luminaries as Keir Giles and Melissa Jo Peltier as our inaugural Founder’s Day guests.
EVENT DETAILS HERE: Bette’s Founder’s Day — Special Guest Zarina Zabrisky, live from Kherson, Ukraine
Today, Sunday, October 15, 1:30 pm — Author/poet/war correspondent Zarina Zabrisky, a US citizen currently reporting from Ukraine, will be our next Founder’s Day guest. Our latest RadPod interview is gut-wrenching.
WATCH IT HERE:
Zabrisky is reporting from Kherson, which is sustaining heavy fire, and she is one of only two journalists reporting from the battered city, and describes it as “being hunted”. She said Russia is committing genocide in darkness, because there are too few reporting on what is actually happening on the ground. Her work documenting Russian war crimes from Ukraine was featured in the film, Under Deadly Skies — Ukraine’s Eastern Front, and she is currently working with war photojournalist Paul Conroy to produce another film documenting the crimes being committed against the people of Ukraine daily. Keep up with Zabrisky here: The Malcontent News:
As noted above, if you are not yet a Founding Member, please consider upgrading your membership to anything above the annual rate and join us — so for those who cannot afford the $210 annual, anything above $60 will make you a Founder!
Thank you to everyone who supports this work.
Onward and upward.
