Award-winning Irish comedian and author David Nihill reminds us of the power and duty of the individual to help oppressed people everywhere

If you are pro-democracy wherever you are in the world, you can see there is a global authoritarian assault backed by technofascists. When one person anywhere is harmed, it’s one person too many. I am a student of fascist history, I know it when I see it.

What Dublin-born comedian and author David Nihill reminds us in this three-minute clip is we are not powerless. It’s our duty to stand up against oppression and the oppressors. A small group of people — decent and with integrity — can indeed change the world and did, in Ireland 41 years ago. Listen to him tell the story…
