COVER UP - The GOP Is Engaged In a Massive Criminal Cover Up
Every breath they take, every move they make is to hide their criminal exposure, and any media parroting their talking points has failed us
It’s time to fire the media.
We’ve dissected, inspected, detected, and unselected them from reporting the news. Year after year in this battle for democracy, they have failed the American people - whether it’s a dereliction of duty, complicity, parroting, normalizing or as with Fox and other Kremlin-propaganda outlets, they’re simply anti-democratic agents, it no longer makes any difference. They need to get out of the way and let independent reporters who are unafraid of truth do their jobs for them.
As Brian Hansbury from Fix Media Now wrote:
“Whoever controls information has the power to foment revolution or facilitate dictatorship. Information shapes hearts and minds. Information becomes political outcomes.
“We’re in the midst of an information war, with “neutral” national news orgs abetting fascists.”
As I wrote in my report on Trump’s 2024 announcement speech - where I applied the lens of How Fascism Works to reveal the fascist playbook - “corporate media outlets continue to platform him, while failing to confront the fact that their outdated ideas of journalistic impartiality are failing the very people they’re meant to serve.”

I think we all have seen enough.
Seven years ago, disgraced erstwhile CBS honcho Les Moonves said, “(The Trump Campaign) may not be good for America, but it’s damn good for CBS.”
He essentially wrote his own epitaph.
This week, we are learning more from the court filings in the Dominion Voting Systems’ defamation lawsuit against Fox News and Fox Corporation. Among the new developements, the Party’s Enforcer in Chief Tucker Carlson really really hated Donald J. Trump, but that did not stop him from lying to viewers faces.
I tried to explain to perplexed individuals that a cursory search revealed Tucker Carlson was under contract to his dad to ensure reputation washing of Orbán thugs so it didn’t really matter what he thought.
In the words of Catch 22’s Milo Minderbender, “a contract is a contract.”
The Carlsons, by working for Orbán, are working for Putin - which explains all the Russian Federaton ties to Jr.

Ruth is not pulling any punches. Her tweet this morning lays it out in brass tacks - the GOP is an autocratic force working within to destroy democracy - this is the Fifth Column I have been writing about for nearly seven years. They are working with the transnational mob to destroy our country.
The Tankies are doing it from the left, as I wrote in my investigative report, Agitation and Propaganda - about the Russian indicted for using US political groups as foreign agents - for a decade.
It’s important to not miss the big things, while being constantly assaulted with distractions - one of the 4-Ds of Soviet-era warfare.
The Big Thing is that the GOP is engaged in a massive criminal cover up. Reporting I’ve been doing in recent days for an exposé in Byline Supplement documenting their criminality over the past few years is shocking. It’s all in plain site - buried by an avalanche of shit, and a media unwilling to do its f**king job.
Just as Fox News getting caught with its pants down promoting election lies about 2020 is a smaller story contained in a bigger story about its culture of lies, so is the criminal exposure of the GOP.
The reason they are doing so many desperate things is because they are trying to stay out of prison.
Do recall, the Insurrectionists of Congress asked Trump for preemptive pardons. That is what guilty people do.
Andy Biggs, Louie Gohmert, Scott Perry, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz all sought pardons. In addition, according to testimony at the January 6 Committee hearings, Mo Brooks sent an email on January 11, 2021, asking for “all purpose” pardons for every lawmaker who objected to the certification of Arizona and Pennsylvania electoral votes.
I exhaustively reported on all this for Byline Times. It is astonishing how correct Ruth was when she said that early stage autocracy encourages amnesia.
In RadPod’s brilliant interview with Ruth, she noted that CNN was treating the GOP as if it was a “normal political party.”
She said that “when you have autocracy coming up, there is a huge work of memory repression or self-censorship… you are going to be encouraged to forget. The warning is not only a warning of what can happen, but what has happened.”
As she noted, we can’t just memory hole a violent coup.
It is rather obvious that much of what we are witnessing now is the escalation of desperation. The GOP is engaged in desperate efforts to cover up its criminal actions related to the 2020 election lies, and the attempted overthrow of our government.
Fox News is desperate to cover its criminal exposure related to the 2020 election and the attempted overthrow of our government. Kevin McCarthy working with Tucker Carlson is a collaboration born of desperation.
Christopher Wray collaborating with Fox News to reputation wash and spew Kremlin propaganda - while the FBI’s whole ass is hanging out over what appears to be an influence operation to throw the 2016 election to Trump - is also an escalation of desperation.
Could truth be winning?
