In a revised indictment, Special Counsel Jack Smith gives a rousing ‘fuck you’ to the criminals on the Supreme Court

Special Counsel Jack Smith, who prosecuted war criminals at The Hague, dropped a sweet bombshell on Tuesday. Even Joyce Vance took time from her Scotland vacation to dash off a post to her subscribers.
As the New York Times reported:
Federal prosecutors on Tuesday issued a pared-down version of an indictment accusing…Trump of plotting to overturn the 2020 election, stripping out some charges and tweaking others to help the case survive the Supreme Court’s recent ruling granting former presidents broad immunity.
The revised indictment, issued in Federal District Court in Washington, represented an attempt by prosecutors in the office of the special counsel, Jack Smith, to preserve the bulk of their case against the former president while bringing the allegations into line with the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling that former presidents are immune from criminal prosecution for many official acts taken while in office.
What you won’t find in the revision from the first indictment is any reference to Trump as president. He is now described as “a candidate for president” in 2020.
“Fuck around and find out,” Jack Smith appears to be suggesting.
That removal of 45 is what excited Joyce Vance, who flagged it at midnight in Scotland. What a dame!
His Weirdness pitched the expected shitfit on QAnon Social. Just like Roger Stone posted an image of the judge tasked with overseeing his trial in crosshairs, Trump posted Jack Smith as a poorly drawn demon. These are incredibly dangerous men, and Jack Smith knows that.
The 36-page superseding indictment removed any reference to Trump’s attempts to manipulate Justice Department officials in his Big Lie grift, due to the immunity granted by the future felons on the Supreme Court, who took bribes from billionaires and who will be impeached after Democrats retake the House and maintain control of the Oval Office.
What is included from the original 45-page indictment are the pressuring of Pence references — VPs have not been granted monarch status — and such core charges as conspiracies to defraud the United States; obstructing the certification of the election; and critically, depriving Americans of their voting rights. Pressuring his minions on faking slates of electors and stoking violence is still contained in the new wording.
The Special Counsels allows Trump to bury himself by citing his inflammatory, conspiracy-laden Twitter posts in a personal, not official capacity, noting that Trump used social media “to spread knowingly false claims of election fraud, exhort his supporters to travel to Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6, pressure the vice president to misuse his ceremonial role in the certification proceeding, and leverage the events at the Capitol on Jan. 6 to unlawfully retain power.”
In 2016, Trump bragged he “could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and (he) wouldn’t lose any voters.”
But what Jack Smith is signaling is he can’t try to overthrow the United States of America.
