Bette’s ‘Speakeasy’ Registration
Paid members please join us for a conversation with ex-fed Martin Sheil today, Sunday, 4 pm PT - California time
Wow! Today’s ‘Speakeasy’ is shaping up to be fantastic.
A big shoutout to all our new members, core members, and Founding Members😻.
There is still time to register for our ‘Speakeasy’ Zoom with retired IRS criminal investigator Martin Sheil, who has been documenting Trump’s legal and financial entanglements for decades and will happily answer your Trumpsky questions.
If you are not yet a paid member, please upgrade here to join us. An annual membership is still 20% off for a few more hours. If you join, you will unlock access to the registration invite below for the ‘Speakeasy’ event today, Sunday, 3/26, 4 pm PT. I note California time, because time zones are confusing.
‘The Back Story’
So Marty and I met after I tracked him down during the holidays of 2019. I had read and reread and read and reread his in-depth reporting on Who What Why and Medium on Deutsche Bank, and following the money ties between American and Russian oligarchs.
From our first phone call, when he admonished me for calling him ‘Mr. Sheil’ - and said, ‘Call me Marty’, I knew I had made a pal.
I wrote our first thread in the Tucson airport. I was searching for just the right word to describe Trump’s money entanglements, and I blurted out:
It was gattdang perfect.
When I started writing for Byline Times a year later, my first assignment was to follow the money with Marty.
Upon launching RadPod, Marty became our financial correspondent, and each time he appears on our show, we look so forward to seeing both him and his sidekick, Quincey - a pug who got his monicker after Marty’s detective nickname.
Paid members will find the registration link below. I ask that you do not forward the link. I also remind you that we do not record these sessions, and I do not authorize any ‘Speakeasy’ recordings. These events are like a good party - you either were there, or you heard about it.
