America Was There for Europe

On Saturday, on Twitter, after US brownshirts murdered another patriot, a professor in Europe asked:
“The question tonight: At what point might the international community intervene in the United States to overthrow a despotic regime?”—John O’Brennan, professor of European Politics, Maynooth University, Ireland
I could see the litany of anonymous accounts weighing in on how America has to deal with its own problems.
I rarely surf into a thread of anons to make a comment, but since I already identified the “Europeans hating Americans” operation on Twitter, I figured why not cruise in, drop my ‘pamphlet,’ and fly out.
I generally try to avoid self-cyborgization — getting lost in the code by responding to unhumans — but on the off chance anyone real was lurking around, I hoped my words might have impact.
I wrote:
It’s safe anonymously to bash America, even understandable. But not that long ago, we showed up for Europe heroically. And then embraced immigrants like my parents, who then made great Americans.
So yes, I’m the first to say, we need help.
The response I got was fair and reasonable that America had been educated on the threats of fascism and knew better, and needs to take responsibility and do the hard work before asking for help.
I thanked the anonymous account and dipped out.
What was missing from the equation is the menticide that’s been happening in America for a decade, the steady drip of radicalizing poison being carpet bombed into people’s minds. There’s something for everyone, just ask the algorithm.
Today, I had a conversation with a friend who is being pumped full of racist poison of the Weimar years variety, and my friend does not see that othering people of color is a core component of the fascist playbook.
In my report above, I wrote:
“German propagandists went to work, creating stories of barbarism, whipping Germans into a fear-frenzy, while also rejecting the Weimar Republic and the Versailles Treaty. Igniting rage among the population, made-up stories of Black soldiers raping German women were seeded in newspapers and a propaganda campaign known as the Black Shame poisoned the country... Although the stories were proven demonstrably false, that truth didn’t make its way into the general population’. I also noted:
The images created to instigate this rage look very much like the memes we see today — racist caricatures, grotesques that could only come out of the minds of demented people. In fact, multiple historians who documented the fact that these ‘horror’ events never happened, suggest that it was in the perverted minds of the propagandists that the real threat could be found.
According to the DW Documentary Nazi Prejudice and Propaganda “enormous amounts of money were invested in the ‘shame’ campaign Brochures were translated from English, Dutch, Swedish, French, Spanish and American, English and so on. There were postcards, illustrations, posters, medallions and plays. They even made films about it.”

JD Vance and Donald Trump are not running a campaign — they are waging war against America and Americans.

I have written many columns on how Europe and Canada need to now step up and lead the free world.
I understand that Americans should do for themselves, but I also understand that Trump did not come to power authentically, nor did he ever win a majority. He received 31 percent of the vote of all registered voters in 2024, and in 2016, he lost the popular vote and won by 77,000 votes in three states, swing states that were blitzkrieged with Russian and US oligarch funded disinformation campaigns, with polling data given from Paul Manafort to the Russians, and scraped illegally from Facebook by Cambridge Analytica, the shell company of a military contractor practiced in the dark arts of pysops and espionage.
And now we have brownshirts murdering people in broad daylight, which was always the plan.
So yeah, we need help.
We need Putin and Trump to be invited to tea and then whisked off to The Hague.
We don’t need this to get worse, but it will. It will get a lot worse.
If during the run up to World War II, Hitler and Mussolini could have been prevented from committing their worst crimes, wouldn’t that have been the right thing to do?
Yes, Americans need to do more. But a third are lost to the MAGA cult — no one brainwashes themselves — and those who are trying to fight this thing, are using tools from a previous era.
We live under technofascism now.
To stop the escalation of authoritarian capture, it will take all the help of Europe and Canada.
We were there for Europe during World War II. And up until recently, we lived up to the inscription on the Statue of Liberty, inviting the huddled masses yearning to be free to our shores.
We had no inoculation from active measures. Countries in Europe like Finland, Denmark, Estonia have much they can teach the world.
We need help.

Europe could investigate and expose the right wing radicalization pipeline in their own countries which would shed light on what has happened here in the US. It is more than propaganda, in my opinion, there are neuro weapons that make if way way worse and they are being used globally.
Omg I agree with everything you’ve said. Yes America should fix its own problems but like you pointed out, 1/3 of our country is brainwashed. And he didn’t win legitimately 😫🤬 and they will be helping the world really by helping America 😖
