There are many reasons I stay on Twitter, behind enemy lines.
I continue to form alliances with people globally doing great pro-democracy work. And abandoning a key battlefield in an information war surrenders ground to the fascist enemy. Despite throttling my reach, I can still break through, as I did last night, when dummies were saying nice things about Susie Wiles, so I reminded them of her deep ties to Russia by reposting Zarina Zabrisky’s report in Bette Dangerous from 2024.
What a world.
This morning, I am regifting a video that I received from a Twitter rando featuring comedian Josh Johnson, a writer for the Daily Show, which explains why Trump makes random noises. He deduced that it’s a “demon trying to get out.”
As I learned from Jason Stanley and David Livingston Smith, “none of us demons.”
But this is good comedy, and I am trying to extend the post-midterms schadenfreude for a while longer. With Goebbels Miller now in charge, we know we in for a nasty spell.
But it is Sunday morning, and I watched this short three times, and I am still rofl.
