I’m gonna tell you a little short story, about the time a bunch of Twitter activists banded together to secure a 2020 presidential win for one Joe Biden.
At the time, it wasn’t chic to publicly declare your support for Joe. But we did it anyway. Personally, I knew I’d be voting for him since 2017, but we got together around the holidays of 2019, and began our full court press in January of 2020.
We met on Slack — a motley resistance group — and began amplifying each other’s pro-Biden tweets.
This was during the period when corporate media had declared his candidacy dead.
By then, we were all seasoned information warriors — having suffered the slings and arrows of Russian propagandists for three straight years.
And so, we persisted.
In no time, media began writing articles with titles such as:
Like Lazarus, Biden Returns from the Grave
We know now the difference in the 2020 election was Twitter. The Council for National Policy’s own report showed that Twitter made the difference for Trump in 2016 and Biden in 2020.
By going public, we made it safe for others to admit that they desired a seasoned public servant who had served our nation in the highest offices over a Reality TV Goon, who had not only failed his way through life but failed our country during the gravest challenge in our lifetime.
The point of my parable is we matter. It’s what WE do.
America is awakening from a Russian-induced coma and realizing we don’t want to live in a fascist dictatorship like Putin has created in Russia.
Yes, we are woke. Damn right.
And we are taking our words back, and we are taking our airwaves back.
And we don’t have to put up with networks willing to platform propagandists and call it news.
As my friend Rich Logis of Leaving MAGA said, even Trumpers hated Ronna.
NBC brought us the lie that was ‘The Apprentice’. And they tried to lie to us again.
Its employees stood up and so did the people.
In a moment of beautiful Twitter irony, Anthony Scaramucci wrote:

McDaniel — a liar, a propagandist — lasted 0.3 Scaramuccis.
In response to the network execuhack’s excuse that they “must continue to be committed to the principle that we must have diverse viewpoints on our programs, and to that end, we will redouble our efforts to seek voices that represent different parts of the political spectrum,” Jay Rosen wrote:
It seems not to occur to them that some parts of the political spectrum can only be represented in studio if the network is willing to let editorial standards slide to meet this other priority. Then, yes, you can always have a MAGA person on the panel.
To which I responded:
Anchor: “Let’s introduce our panel—on the left, we have an immunologist with 30-years experience curing people in disease ravished countries. On the right we have a Peter Thiel-funded science denier who did time in a Czech jail for trafficking underage boys across state lines. You decide.”
Platforming propagandists is not representing different parts of the political spectrum, it’s creating unreality and forcing people to live in it.
I’ll give the floor to my friend Volodymyr Demchenko, a soldier in Ukraine who knows a thing or two about how Russia is destroying the world with its lies, and how we need to stop it our borders now:
I am dashing off this note to you as a reminder that we have power.
We are not helpless and hapless observers trapped in a fascist dictatorship.
We still have control of our destiny, and we can each do something.
