Warrant for Putin’s Arrest - ‘The Execution Depends on International Cooperation’
And other double entendres
I expected to be reading legal docs all weekend - in anticipation of criminal indictments related to Trump’s myriad crimes.
Instead, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued warrants for the arrest of Putin and his Commissioner for Children’s Rights for the unlawful deportation of children from Ukraine.
ICC President Judge Piotr Hofmánski issued this video statement:
“This is an important moment in the process of justice before the ICC. The judges have reviewed the information and evidence submitted by the prosecutors and have determined there are credible allegations against (Putin) for these crimes.
“The judges issue arrest warrants. The execution depends on international cooperation.”
As I have been reporting since 2016, a network of Fifth Column traitors in America at the highest levels has been cooperating with Putin, so let’s hope Western leaders do the right thing and cooperate with the ‘execution.’
According to the ICC:
Mr Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, born on 7 October 1952, President of the Russian Federation, is allegedly responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population (children) and that of unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation (under articles 8(2)(a)(vii) and 8(2)(b)(viii) of the Rome Statute). The crimes were allegedly committed in Ukrainian occupied territory at least from 24 February 2022. There are reasonable grounds to believe that Mr Putin bears individual criminal responsibility for the aforementioned crimes, (i) for having committed the acts directly, jointly with others and/or through others (article 25(3)(a) of the Rome Statute), and (ii) for his failure to exercise control properly over civilian and military subordinates who committed the acts, or allowed for their commission, and who were under his effective authority and control, pursuant to superior responsibility (article 28(b) of the Rome Statute).
Ms Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, born on 25 October 1984, Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Office of the President of the Russian Federation, is allegedly responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population (children) and that of unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation (under articles 8(2)(a)(vii) and 8(2)(b)(viii) of the Rome Statute). The crimes were allegedly committed in Ukrainian occupied territory at least from 24 February 2022. There are reasonable grounds to believe that Ms Lvova-Belova bears individual criminal responsibility for the aforementioned crimes, for having committed the acts directly, jointly with others and/or through others (article 25(3)(a) of the Rome Statute).
Pre-Trial Chamber II considered, based on the Prosecution’s applications of 22 February 2023, that there are reasonable grounds to believe that each suspect bears responsibility for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population and that of unlawful transfer of population from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation, in prejudice of Ukrainian children.
Ep63 of RadPod we interviewed Dr. Ian Garner, the author of Z Generation: Into the Hearts of Russia’s Fascist Youth, who explained just how the Russian Federation is steering a generation of young people toward totalitarianism in order to build an army of fascists.
His book is a brilliant and vitally important exposé on how the Russian Federation is actively indoctrinating its youth toward fascist ideology.
He lived in St. Petersburg in the mid-2000s “before the madness of the patriotic turn that Putin pushed the country down in the early 2010s,” he said.
“It was a liberal city, a European city,” he said. “There was one glorious street where there was a straight club and a gay club owned by the same owner, you could follow you dream, follow your heart, it was great. Young Russians just wanted to be at peace with the world.”
Not only is Russia indoctrinating its youth using influencers and social media, but we are doing literally nothing about the fact that the techniques are being deployed in America and other western nations.
“This is one of the things that alarms me the most,” he said. “This is something that is real, Russia is already trying to influence our young people in the same kinds of ways. It can’t send heavies over to beat up young gay kids as it has done in the last 15 years using football hooligans. But it can reach out on Reddit forms, TikTok, and the problem that we have is our smart phones are just part of day to day life.
“We cannot stop using them, and therefore we are vulnerable. And yet, government just does not seem to be taking it seriously. I don’t know whether it’s a willful ignorance. It’s a lack of electoral appeal - lack of democratic motivation in doing this - is it a vote winner to go tackle Russian disinformation, maybe not? Are they naive? It’s very frustrating to see how this has quite openly gone on. We know it’s happening.”
The importance of the ICC arrest warrant - even symbolically - cannot be understated. It is a public notice to the world that Putin’s war crimes - particularly those impacting children - are not being ignored.
