‘Georgia Needs West to Survive from Russia’ — An Interview with Tamar Kintsurashvili
On RADICALIZED Truth Survives Ep97, we interview Tamar Kintsurashvili — the Executive Director of the Media Development Foundation and editor-in-chief of Myth Detector — who was attacked for her work
Every membership supports the light of truth and keeps my lights on.
“The current problem in Georgia with this government is they see democracy as a threat for themselves, and they are fighting with democratic institutions — civil society organizations, media outlets, all independent platforms not under their control. Attempts to silence us shows their weaknesses rather than their strengths.”—Tamar Kintsurashvili
RadPod opens Ep97 with video of the attack that took place at Tamar Kintsurashvili’s office in Tbilisi, Georgia. Masked invaders pasted flyers throughout the entrance disparaging her, and this occurred a day after threats to her family.
Please have a listen and please share with your pro-democracy networks.
Tamar does vital work, educating and inoculating Georgians from Russian information warfare. She is the Executive Director of the Media Development Foundation and editor-in-chief of Myth Detector, which exposes fake narratives and helps debunk lies, while also explaining the greater objectives of sites such as RT and Sputnik.

She educates children and teachers in media literacy, and helps people understand the treachery of propaganda. The new “Russian law” will force organizations like hers to register as foreign agents, which she says she will defy. She wants the West to know that the people of Georgia need their support.
“Georgia needs West to survive from Russia.”
She also wants our global viewers to know that silence is not an option.
“Government wants us to be silent, we are not planning to register as foreign agents because it undermines trust in our activities.”—Tamar Kintsurashvili
She says not only is her organization planning to be sanctioned in Georgia, but they are also looking outside of Georgia to operate somewhere else if need be.
As in America, it’s what the people do, and in Georgia, the people are not backing down. She says she is grateful for every retweet, every word of support, and every network that shares their work.
“Even support when you tweet something, you are encouraged by many people internationally which gives you the feeling you are not left alone with your government which tries to suppress your free voice.”—Tamar Kintsurashvili
Thank you as always for your support of this work. When we defeat the latest wave of global fascism, it will be because of what people like us do.
