We’ve got some great community events coming up — here’s your calendar <3

Thank you to members who joined us at our recent Happy Hour, Speakeasy, and Founder’s Day events, and a big warm welcome to new members! Very grateful for your support.

I am just zipping you a quick calendar so you can pencil in some upcoming events. All registration links will be sent in advance of each date, with reminders.

BETTE’S CALENDAR:

• JULY 10 — Bette Zoom Tutorial/Fundraiser, Wednesday, July 10, 12 pm PT/3 pm ET

  • A Bette member from Canada had the idea for a tutorial/fundraiser to teach Zoom literacy, security functions, and an overall education on how to safely use the platform. The 90-minute event is open to all membership levels, and will include a tip jar if you would like to offer additional support. I will be co-hosting this event with my podcast partner High Fidelity, a Silicon Valley technologist with expertise in platform security functions. The first 45-minutes will be spent walking users through Zoom functions, and the second 45 minutes we will answer any questions.

• JULY 14 — Founder’s Day with Craig Unger, Sunday, July 14, 4 pm PT/7 pm ET

  • Investigative reporter Craig Unger is the author of the upcoming Den of Spies, and the author of such vital books as American Kompromat and House of Trump/House of Putin. • JULY 16 — Bette’s Happy Hour with Dietmar Pichler, Tue. July 16, 12 pm PT/3 pm ET

  • Dietmar Pichler is a Vienna-based disinformation researcher, media literacy educator, and the founder of Disinfo Resilience Network. Please have a listen to RadPod’s interview with Dietmar here. Happy Hours are open to all levels of membership, and we look forward to meeting new members!
